Project Brief
This California “Beach Chic” home resides at the intersection of Hollywood glam and Manhattan Beach relaxation. Occupants are introduced to the home by way of a long procession flanked by lush landscaping and natural stone siding that gives way to a large glass entry. Standing at the front door it’s hard to decide what is more spectacular; the large tree that fills the internal courtyard or the stunning views of Palos Verdes and Catalina to the west. Views made possible by large pocketing doors that reinforce indoor and outdoor living. A quick trip downstairs leads to the hidden speakeasy and upstairs bedrooms capture sunset view of Malibu every evening. The home is in essence a little slice of Southern California heaven.
